IGeneral Directives
Photos can be taken using mobile phones or cameras. However, only approved camera apps that allow manual control and RAW output will be accepted.
Submissions must be made via the official portal: https://lumora-seds-ousl.vercel.app/submit
Photographs must be original and free from copyright violations.
Minor post-processing adjustments such as brightness, contrast, color balance, sharpening, and cropping are permitted.
Advanced processing techniques (including stacking, compositing, HDR blending, panorama stitching, or similar astrophotography workflows) are allowed. However, all edited submissions will be subject to re-analysis and verification.
Participants must clearly state the type of processing applied (e.g., single exposure edit, stacked image, composite, time-lapse sequence, etc.) at the time of submission.
If your submission involves editing, stacking, or compositing, you must be able to provide all original source files upon request. This includes:
- Original RAW files (light frames)
- Layered project files (e.g., PSD, TIFF with layers, or equivalent)
- Any additional assets used in the final composition
Failure to provide source materials for verification may result in disqualification.
Heavily manipulated, misleading composites (without disclosure), or AI-generated images are strictly prohibited.
Add a creative topic for the photo.
Format: JPEG/PNG and RAW image (Up to 1GB). RAW images must be submitted as either:
- An unedited, original camera RAW file, or
- A flattened image exported directly from the original RAW data (with no advanced post-processing beyond basic conversion).
If your submission includes stacking, layering, composites, or time-lapse sequences, you must compress (ZIP) and upload all necessary source files and supporting assets. This includes all light frames, calibration frames (bias, dark, flat, if used), and any project or processing files required for verification.
Each participant can submit up to 02 photographs.
